The Epoxy Surface Plate can easily be
installed as the flooring of choice for a mechanical or hydraulic lift system.
The lift you are using will determine the application technique used to install
the plate. The hydraulic lifts below have the Epoxy Plates installed with the
recessed center area poured as a separate plate. This allows the lift to be
lowered into the recessed area and below the actual floor as intended. For
measurements taken on frame rails for example that are over the recessed section
of the plate, the distance between the actual floor and the recess area would be
subtracted from that measurement to give an exact reference with relation to the
main plate surface. The post lift system is
installed with the lift post being mounted to the concrete substrate first
following the normal lift installation procedures. Once completed, the Epoxy
Surface Plate is installed at any size desired using the normal application
techniques (see Installation
Procedures). The lift post mounting bases are isolated from the epoxy
pours to protect from being bonded to the plate or the concrete substrate.
This allows for normal removal of the lift post in the future without having
to damage the plate or concrete should the need arise.
